CCP show heavies some love and give us a HMG blueprint. I believe every other gun class has one so why not? Fat people need love too. |

True, but I'm really looking at it from the standpoint that the start-up cost for heavies is a little high, and a BPO weapon and a T1 armor will definitely help out in the beginning. Especially for the newer players. I mean starting out in this game as a heavy your already paying 30k a gun for a basic HMG and paying for whatever the militia drops cost if you don't have a skinweave suit, not to mention that the skillbook for the heavy drop is about 700k. Meanwhile, the AR guys are running around with their raven suits and exile rifles, scouts have the dragonfly/valor suits, and everyone is stockpiling isk. While heavies have to keep spending what they are trying to save for a class with higher cost than the others. |

I can't speak for others, but for me it's simply just preference. I started as a logi for my corp, but we had no heavies so I decided to switch. I managed to make a decent build, but now we're starting over and I want all points towards one class. I don't want to put any points into light weapon skills if I decide to continue my role as heavy for my corp. Why should I if i'm a heavy, and there is already a militia forge gun so why not go all the way.

We're playing the I game I guess so it's my turn now. I like free gear. I wanted a free gun, so I came here to ask for it. That's what I do when I want something you see, so It's not about you it's about I. I think I won. If there was a militia variant already I'm positive you would have used it at some point already.
The dark cloud wrote:Dear lord this game doessnt need more people in fat suits and HMG's. Its allready annoying that i every 3rd player is using a fat suit. My thoughts about it: if you have no gungame then increase your amount of HP to compensate your lack of skill. You allready have skinweave and a new militia BPO heavy.
I agree with you to some extent. I have seen a lot more heavies as well, but i think it's due to the fact that people just want to try new things. I doubt we see that many heavies again since there won't be anymore resets. That whole gun game comment is bs. Ppl use is to degrade or cheapen the heavy class simple because they don't like it. I could easily say the same about guys who use lasers or mass drivers, or even tank drivers. What's even funnier is that their is a guy in your corp who uses a heavy suit and AR. |

Funny thing is that after playing day 1 on the new servers I can agree with you guys. It completely changed my stance for the most part. I mean, if CCP wanted to give a bpo HMG I wouldn't complain. The only thing that really needs to happen is a slight armor buff. I never really paid attention to armor until I had to run around with 100 shields lol. Armor really blows. |

LOL! Even with a T1 bpo armor will still suck. It needs a slight buff. |
